It's a 1997 Ford Escort LX, it needs a little bit of work and it's a hand-me-down.  I'm getting it for free so beggars can't be choosers.  I will have the keys within the year or early next.  I'm already planning out what I want to do:

-paint it black

-install Andy's Autosport Buddy Club body kit

-Weapon R intake/exhaust

-Super Sniper rear wing

-5 Zigen or Axis wheels

-pocket fenders

-CF tailights/super clear headlights

and thats all so far.

I'll admit the idea is somewhat original and GM designers were thinking outside the box on this one, but I question it's functionality in terms of usefullness.  This actually reminds me of an SSR but let me ask this, how many of you have seen actually seem them on the road or carrying anything in the back for that matter.  The G8 is a good car and most agree, but why screw it up by putting a bed on it?  I think that will lead to it's downfall and why isn't Pontiac following the crowd by still not offering more fuel efficient cars anyway?  I think GM is dying and soon will be left in time like AMC, Pierce-Arrow, and Datsun.

THE CAR: 3rd Generation Pontiac Grand Am SE

WHAT TO DO

-Swap the engine and transmission with that of a EG6 Honda (B16 engine, i don't know the model of the transmission)

-Turbocharger

-custom exhaust system that exits in front of the rear tires (4-1-2 set up)

-EBC rotors and red stuff brake pads

-JSP Apache rear wing

I was doing an oil change on a 99 Grand Prix and i forgot to make sure the original oil filter gasket was off so i ended up double gasketing the oil filter and if anyone has ever done or seen it, you know how that turns out...
