I finally gave in and got rid of the Talon. I used it today as a trade in for a new used car for myself. I haven't signed for anything yet so I'm not sure what exactly I'll be getting, but hopefully it will be a 2001 Monte Carlo SS with 44000 miles. I'll let you know and get some pictures up. ... well i just got my first truck from my dad...and ive been cleaning it out this past week and its looking really good...i plan on doing lots of interior work on it soon and put in a new head unit and 2 new speakers and then get a sub woofer and an amp..and then im repainting it after i pick out a color for it right now its silver its a 2000 nissan frontier and its a manual its very relaible ... I had a nice Sunday drive today in the Thunderhorse. A nice black 350Z pulled up next to me on one of the main roads here, and we just cruised together for a solid 5 minutes. It was just nice to be in the company of another fun car, even though the 350 and the Mustang are so entirely different. We exchanged a few high rpm passes, and a thumbs up. Even though the Talon is up for sale at the moment I am taking the time to still try and fix all that is wrong with it, just in case I have to use it. In case you haven't been following this project my 6-bolt AWD DSM needed a massive transplant, the transmission was shot, the oil seal on the center diff was leaking, the torque converter was siezed and the engine was 'bout ready to pop.
