Default 5 spd swap done! ...kinda

so long story short i just completed converting me civic from an auto to a 5 speed

and its done and drivable but i did the swap about 30 minutes away from my house and when i got about 2 miles out of town the clutch went...
it was my fault that i used the shitty clutch but i was running low on money and rain wasnt helping either

so i had my car towed and now it sits in my driveway and i have to do it all over again

At least breaker bars and clutch kits are -relatively- cheap.

At least it was just an axle popping out, though did you have a loose ball joint or something? Those are not supposed to pop out like that, something had to have shifted.

Default update

everything runs fine but there is a bushing that is missing or is bad in my shift linkage so i can move it side to side really easy when its in gear (gets really confusing sometimes when trying to find neutral) but i can still shift.

The loose shifter shouldn't be too hard to fix. Jack up the car and work from the shifter back to the transmission and check the play. maybe the shifter itself isn't bolted in all the way?

well i figured out that there was a bushing that was pretty much gone at the bottom of the shifter and i snagged a almost new shifter for free and it made it way better and there is one more pin that i have to replace(i have it but i have got it in yet) in the tranny side of the linkage

and also i was told that my top tranny mount isnt the right one its for a b-series and i have a d-series

oh and my clutch doesnt grab worth crap do you think i should go with a stage1 or 2 or just buy a oem replacement?

!!!!!!!and my timing belt is fixed i put it on to tight and that why it was winding weird!!!!!!!!!

:
With the turbo set up if you get that all together I would do a stage 1 set up to be safe. Stage 2 will be really grabby and total expensive overkill. You could probably get away even with the oem replacement from a GST or GSX depending on your flywheel *I can't remember if they changed any across models* since you aren't going to be putting down too much power just yet.
