We'll see how your 3400 can stand up to a 2litre jap motor by the time I'm done tinkering with it

and when I'm done, now I just gotta raise about 5 or 6 thousand dollars for a supercharger, CAI, cat back exhaust, hi flow cat, headers, brakes and maybe a body kit and CF hood

I'm going for the JDM motor because instead of the 180hp that my old engine had, it comes stock with 210 hp via high flow injectors, higher compression ratio and a larger turbo. I'm then going to do a full top end port and polish, port and polish the turbo and O2 housing, high flow 3" Apexi exhaust turboback, HKS 272 cams, front mount intercooler, carbon fiber hood and hatch lid. If I can strengthen the chassis enough I want to do a custom targa top or T-tops as well. Once I get the motor we'll see how much of that I can actually manage.

Maybe I should do a port and polish. I may do it cuz I'm leaking coolant on top of the block so I may need to replace the head gasket

Umm, that's not really why you would do a port and polish lol

Or you could sell that piece and buy a new car and invest in it to make it even faster. Oh and body kits are for the ricers.

If your car needs a body kit to look sporty, you bought the wrong car.

no ****. You do it to increase the volumetric efficiency of the engine. I meant to say that I'll do it because I'll have to take the heads off anyways to replace head gaskets

I've always wondered how american auto manufacturers manage to pull so little power out of so much displacement. My 2-litre pushes 210hp, but the Dodge Viper for example only does 5xxhp from an 8.3L. 140hp from a 3.4 says that GM was a little lazy in engineering their motor.
