Default SCCA / NCCC autocross race dates at Grissom IN.

Here is a small list of the races that have been scheduled at the Grissom Autoplex in Peru Indiana. This is a very FAST auto-x track with brushed concrete surface, hard on tires BUT great traction.

June 6 and 7th = South bend region SCCA
Aug 22 and 23rd = NCCC (all corvette) Indiana region
Sept 19 and 20th = NCCC (all corvette) indiana region
Oct 24 and 25th = NCCC (all Corvette) indiana region.

All NCCC events allow "guest" cars other than Corvette to come out and play!

If anybody is around stop by and watch or enter and have some fun. If anybody wants to check it out and have never auto-X before, look me up and I will take you for a run around the track.

That is the good thing about SCCA! They have a class for every car and for different variations of performance. There are a LOT of bone stock civics and other cars. You would be suprised what bone stock cars you will see racing. I have seen full size vans racing.

Are you sure about that? Here is a list of events in Iowa region. Look and see if any of them are close to you.

Where exactly are you located? There is no SCCA region in my area. I have my choice to go 1 hour north or south however Grissom where they hold some of the races is only 10 minutes from my house. So eventhough the region is not close to you there is a chance there is a race close to you

Member "Swift_Striker" on here drove from Canada to Indiana to run a NCCC Corvette auto-X one weekend. He was almost pulling better lap times than me and it was his first time on a course.

He beat the crap out of that car all weekend on the track and maybe on the street a little and then drove it back to Canada.
