Define, "alot". Isn't Nascar the biggest spectator sport in the country? ALOT of fans, ALOT of money. They don't need road courses.

I think they're afraid that turning in 2 different directions, braking, and accelerating may confuse NASCAR's core audience though.

Turning right is far too complex. You have to actually know how to drive in order to do that without crashing. You have to slow down, get the attitude of the car just right, get on the power just at the right time... I don't know how many of them can manage it. It'd be awesome if NASCAR did evolve like that though, then it'd be like having our own version of Australia's V8 Supercars series, only with carburetors instead of fuel injection, and stickers instead of headlamps.

You and your friends are in the minority.
Nascar doesnt NEED to go to road courses.

Yes they do, Those inbred rednecks need to be taught (quoting Johnny) how to drive better and turn right. There is more to racing properly than just flooring the gas pedal and turning left on a soft, dull corner...typical Albanian, thinking they can run stuff all the time...

So, by your reasoning the guys who race on dirt should have road courses too, right? I mean, all they do is floor it and turn left

as long as the dirt track isn't a circular or oval-ish or triangular like Pocono

I'll admit I never seen a dirt track race. I'm curious as to if it is similar to watching 4x4 truck rallies or WRC

Well, like me the first thing you'll probably notice at a dirt track race (especially Sprint car races) is:
"Hey look the front 3-4 rows in the stands are completely empty. I guess everyone else wants more of a birds eye view, but I'd rather be up close."
10 minutes later....
"Ah!... Son of a bitch!... I just got hit in the eye by a giant dirt clod or something."

ROFLMAO, I think I'd know better than that, especially after watching so many episodes of Xtreme 4x4 and Trucks!
