Default Track of Choice???

Obviously it depends where you live, but if you guys bring your cars to the track, what track do you go to?

I'm thinking about Watkins Glen in central New York State or Beaver Run in Pennsylvania. I'm just looking for open track days, no roll cage... just helmet type of thing. I also hear the Mid-Ohio race track is pretty good. I guess Acura tests their cars there. What do you guys think?

Default mine.

talladega or bristol by far...big tracks or high banks make for an exciting race no matter what the conditions...and at bristol u start with 43 cars and by the end of the race sometime have half that.

The closest track here is an oval, but it is my dream to drive Laguna Seca.

only tracks around my area are Holland and Lancaster (Dunn Tire now). Lancaster is only a flat oval track with a drag strip. Holland is an oval track with banked corners and a figure 8 inside it. Tough decision...

I'm not really into the roundy-rounds. I like Laguna Seca and Infineon, and you can throw Monaco in there too. I think the biggest thrills are in the technical tracks. The Vancouver street track during the Molson Indy (before city council did away with it) was the only big track. We've also got a small road course and drag strip at Mission Raceway.

Road Atlanta would be rather fun as well now that I'm thinking of it. Though I'd love to do the Nurburgring as well, it'd be so insanely packed with traffic that it'd take the fun out of it.

yeah I actually found a place with a buddy's help called Toronto Motorsports Park. It's a great track with a full quarter mile as well.

No, I have a racing lesson scheduled though, so I'm looking forward to going. you're in Boston, so it's a bit of a drive, but not unreasonable.

Welcome to Canada's Newest Racing Facility - Toronto Motorsports Park

yeah they do. they're located in central new york (obviously), but from my understanding it's a tad bit more serious. depends on your car and experience I guess.
