Because I'm from up north, I can't say I know too much about it... however, I like how they're trying to make it a little more upscale.

yea its pretty neat i watch pretty much ever lap of every race thats got TV coverage anyway lol
they had a really good idea of taking the Nation Wide series and making the cars look like actual cars such as they would be racing Mustangs and they would actually look like mustangs and camaros and dodge chargers and stuff. i doubt they will follow along with that which stinks because i would almost rather watch that than Sprint Cup if they did that.

I watch NASCAR occasionally along with other raing events. I'm not a fan of any televised racing, because they're more about driver's than the cars. Most racing leagues have standardized all the cars, and I don't find it very entertaining watching identical cars racing.

Stock car racing back in the day would have been fun to watch though.

I'm right-handed, and prefer variation in my driving...left turn, after left turn, after left turn...I just get bored...I'm with Johhny Boy, I think racing should be a relationship between car and driver, not the same 4 cars racing 150 racers, on a 500 Lap left turn...
I'm more of a road racing fan (not street racing)

An over-rated motorsport to say the least...NASCAR has stolen the spot light from other forms of racing like SCCA, NASA, Formula D, and D1GP. Only good NASCAR races are the ones at non-circle, oval or triangular tracks such as Infineon. It would be interesting to see a NASCAR race at Suzuka Circuit, Tsukuba Circuit or Fuji Speedway

I was just looking through a list of NASCAR tracks. I didn't realize they had so many non-oval tracks. Why dont I ever see those on TV? Heck, I'd like to watch one of those races.
