I would start on that LF fender with a body hammer and a grinder!

Sorry Matt I could not resist!

The old cutlass would look good if you took a puddy knife and scraped off the 4 inches of rubber off the rear quarters! Other than that last time i seen it looked ok to me (minus the little dent that is).

You know how it is! Steer the front with the steering wheel, steer the back with the gas pedal! I figured with all those fancy cleaning supplies you'd have somthing to bring back the "shine" on the fender. Also, the rubber plaster on the quarters hides the chips from all the rocks and gravel being thrown on the paint from all the miles of driving with the slicks! Dont tell me you dont have that problem with the Vette

Actually the vette usually sticks pretty well! It had a major traction problem once, and that once is why the motor has a knock in it now.

I will have you know it will start right up! Now it may sound like a 1930's john deer tractor BUT it DOES run.

If I remember correct the paint on the GN was so bad we had to use about everything I had to make it look decent.

I quite like Meguires. I find that Armor-All is non-paintfriendly. It leaves an oily coating all over the place, and actually dries out your dash (drying it out faster than usual). I used to detail professionally, and used mostly generic supplies (it's all in the technique folks), as well as micro-fibres and Meguire's interior dressing and tire dressing. As far as polish and wax, anything by 3M is fine by me, since that's all I had to use at the shop. Flanel I find works great for wiping the polish off, because it doesn't scratch the paint.
