Default Changing The Paint

Have you ever found the perfect car but didnt like the color? I recently purchased a Voyager and I hate the color. Its a cream gold color. I would prefer to paint it red.

I've always been against repainting cars different colors. Once you repaint them.... they are never the same. You will be able to tell what the original color was.

It is ok to change the original color but I do not recommend you do it yourself. It is always best to take it to a quality paint shop and make sure the door jambs and all undersides get painted. I worked in the auto body and paint business for a few years and it can be done very successful but don't do it if you are trying to go cheap. When you go cheap, you get cheap and you will not be happy.

I agree... a quality paint job will cost you... don't settle with the guys that advertise on TV get your car painted for $199... it isn't possible and they will cut every single corner!

This is an old thread, but I just wanted to tell everyone somewhat of a funny story. I have a co-worker that is fixing his car up at our work on brake using bondo, paint, etc. It really looks like crap lol. I think the rust looked a lot cleaner lol.
