Default Paint Job Advice

Just wanted to know what you guy's think about painting a car in your favorite team's colors. I'm kind of a big Flyers fan and was considering a triple tone paint job to the Goat. I can see it in my head and it looks awesome to me. The only serious reservation I have is that the colors are Orange, Black and White. I'm afraid that it might gain a Halloween stereotype with the orange and black. Any thoughts?

The paint job I have in mind would leave the car mostly black, but accentuate the bubble of the quarters with orange, separating the black and orange with a tapered white stripe.

If you use the correct color orange it would go really good with black. I would not use much white though, mabe as a accent

i can not picture how you are explaining it though

I realize it's a bit late, but I did a rough photoshop of a concept.

The logo is a concept logo the Flyers are playing with (I think...you'd know more about that logo that I would), and I think it looks cool.

Yeah, but everybody does black. You hardly ever see orange, and the only time you see white on a custom job is that pearly white on G35s, and occasionally on racecars.

I see flat black all the time. There are two flat black rat rods (a Chevelle and a Buick GS) in the same parking lot in my town. Flat back is really common these days. It's the old fashioned colors I hardly ever see any more.

This is a little more along the lines I was thinking. The hood layout would be identical to the RA V GTO's 0f 69. only difference is the center section would be orange. It's really rough, but you get the idea. Any suggestions are welcome.

Also, thanks Webstad. However, I'm not a big fan of all that white on a GTO. It's the thought that counts though. So thanks anyways.

That looks good. I'm actually not a fan of white myself either. The patches of orange on the black look elegant and sporty all at once.

On my design it would be probably better to reverse the white and black, so you get all that black, with just the stripes being white. That would look alright.

The hood layout would be equal to the RA V GTO's 0f 69. only distinction is the center part would be orange. It's actually uneven, but you get the idea. Any proposals are welcome.
