ABOUT ME
I picked up working on cars pretty much on my own. My dad used to always be fixing his cars and he was the influence for what I now do almost all the time. I have 2 Nissan 240sx's. I have one as a daily driver, and the other is going to be my big project car.

I found some good 240's on craigslist, or auto trader. You have to be careful on craigslist tho.

im looking to buya 240 at the end of the summer when i get some cash. I want a manual and i'd like a sr20det but i'd settle for a KA24. any idea where to look for one of them?

Thats sick man. I dont know much about the workings of the 240, like i couldnt do it or explain the mechanics but i know its very potent. The SR20DET engine is a beast, clearly the best option for a swap and one of the best made japanese engines in my opinion. Good luck with it and post some more photos showing the progress!

Well in my 91 im runnin the stock KA24DE. Then in my 89 i plan on buying a RHD front clip which comes with the SR20DET. So i will be going SR and then swapping firewalls, so then the 89 will be RHD. All of this is planned to happen soon, jus tneed to save more money.

Oh ya absolutely. I would drive a RWD any day over a FWD. But an old JDM honda or something old school is just as awesome like a 71 Skyline. nothing can touch that on terms of japanese sports cars.

Haha, no. It's more of a hoorah to the stang.  I never said anything bad about your car... your brother did. I like the 240, but overall I'm not an import guy. I don't really know what happened. Your brother was like trying to parent me, and I gave him attitude back, and this whole thing kind of erupted. I don't know about your bro, but I'm all good here. It's nothing personal, it's racing.

Yeah it would be. How much boost is he running? and.. roughly how much horsepower? I might have to put a fuctional shaker on there before we race ;) Forced induction is hard to keep up with if he's a good driver. But yeah, I'm up for it. He should get a gears profile.

haha yes.. well i didnt assume it was fully parent funded just partially 

ha and yes that would be forza2 i dont play it to much anymore. I play alot of PGR4 now im ranked 28th on some las vegas tracks
