so i just found out that GM is pretty much done for

that sucks...

They aren't "done for" done for, but they are certainly about to go through a lot of chances thanks to bankruptcy court. If they can win back a reputation they will survive... maybe. I honestly hope bankruptcy teaches Chrysler and GM finally that it pays to build quality vehicles and hopefully teaches the UAW to stop being so greedy and think about the overall economy instead of the six figure salaries of line workers.

This is something they should have done before we pumped billions into them. This was going to happen and the tax payers giving them money just delayed it.

They probably could have salvaged a lot more too... it's a hard loss.

I dont have a six figure income, I dont know of any line workers that do.

ok i take back the "bye bye gm" i saw a new gm ad on tv and it got me convinced that they may make it but i think that should have kept Saturn and not gmc but whatever

Well then, I guess their marketing department did their job well

On another note, I heard that Roger Penske is in the process of buying Saturn himself... pretty interesting.
