Default 2010 Camaro configurator

Chevy's website recently put up a Flash configurator for the 2010 Camaro. I love playing with these things.

HOLLY CRAP 41K for a loaded Camaro. This is what killed the old Camaro, they were over priced and for a little more you could get a vette.

The good thing is they will be a collector item in 20 years. They wont be making this car long (2-3 years?) and there will not be many around with the SS option because of the price.

I think for 41K there are a lot of better cars out there I would look at buying first.

Well, there are a lot of options. Some are more reasonable than others. The cool looking RS treatment is, in my opinion, a reasonable option at $1200. The black wheels I optioned, on the other hand, were a $4865 add-on! Removing that wheel option alone brings the price down to $36,000.

$32,740 for me, 2LT in Infernal Orange, Black bonnet stripes, RS appearance package, ground effects package, sunroof, manual trans, and the body-matched engine cover. I figure I get the V6 and put some forced induction on it later to keep a more balanced weight distribution.

Those V6s are tempting. 300HP and 29mpg highway.... but I think I'd still have to go with the V8.

It's nice that any Camaro on the street will be a formidable opponent regardless of which engine it has.
