The company claim that it is. This is not a stock modified part/unit. I will buy the diff once the project is up and running. This diff will help a lot with preventing torque steer. the cost is 500 euro. Its a must for the f40 gear box.

WOW great work i havnt been on in a while the internet in my dorm building has been really bad the past 6 weeks. I cant seem to find your email adress so i will give you mine. chicagottype@gmail.com the prototype manifolds would be great to have they would probably go on as soon as i got them and a turbo with a correct flange unless the one i got will work. And your birthday is the same day as mine, except i was born in 89 the day the berlin wall came down.

yea here are some pics of the 87 its a bit rough. its back in chicago while i am in wyoming at wyotech. I was told someone tried to break in to the trunk but thats not a big deal i am going to put an 88-89 decklid on with a fiberglass rear spoiler. The rust you see is pretty much all thats there. The engine is blown up so it might get the LN3 out of my first T or it get an L67 that i want to twin m90 supercharge with a 6 speed.

I have read through this trhead BUT can not see all of the pics (comp here at work is slow) and this is a pretty interesting project.

From what I could see it looks like it is going to be a relly nice car and something that not many (if any) others will have.

I do have one question, how much turbo lag are you expecting on gear changes? When I use to be big in turbo buicks putting a manual behind a turbo 6 was tried by a couple people and they did not have much luck. Just curious if you have considered this and what or if you have done to eleminate the boost build time after a gear change?

Keep us posted on this project.

actually when i am done getting though wyotech i was planning on doing something simular with my black 87 BLT. Either twin turbo or twin M90s with the f40 6 speed behind it.

As for turbo lag dont think there will be too much i believe its a pretty close ratio trans. The biggest problem i see with turbos and manual transmission in non 4 wheel drive cars is the launch. Its hard to build boost on the line.

Steve did you get the car running and moving yet? I know normally when you arent online you are working on it.
