right, but if you want one, the dealer markup is $100,000. My neighbor owns a Nissan dealer.

It's true. I know someone who is trying to get one and every dealer he's talked to has said there is $15-20K mark up.

Im glad for chevy, but the new gtr spec v, and the new nsx is 8 seconds off and its only been to the nurburgring once. So although i hate to say it, i dont think its going to stand for long.

On a track as long as the Nurburgring I find it hard to understand why the lap times are becoming the new replacements for the 0-62mph times or slalom speed tests. It's hard to compensate for the human element on a track that large, plus the track surface changes every day in the form of moisture, temperature, and other factors. Too many variables for it to become a standard test, but I will admit 7:26 is one heck of a time for a production car.

GM has released the in car video of the record run. You can see it here.

And for an interesting perspective, Garage419 sync'd the two videos side-by-side with their own individual timer added so you can see the differences between the two cars on the track via the two in-car videos. That can be found here.

That video is cool. Although the GT-R loses... it keeps up quite well for something that weighs 800 lbs more.

Just wait until the spec-V comes out, then it'll walk all over the ZR-1.
