Default New 2008 Camaro Vs 1968-69 Camaro

Well iv seen plenty of pictures of this new camaro and stuff but, i think they should have made it look like the old 1968-69 version.

I mean it doesnt look bad now but i liked how Ford made there Mustang similar to there old Mustang, and think that Chevy should have done the same to the camaro its just no the same. I think they could have came up with something way better than what they have.
Does anyone agree with me or am i the only one wishing they had something like this instead.

I like the new camaro, but i wish they kept the prototypes headlights. The latest shots of the new camaros front doesnt look as sexy.

Here's what Gear was referring to:

An original prototype.

A production car spied.

I have to agree with Gear if those are indeed going to be the production headlights. Hopefully they're just temperary, because the big ringed headlights on the prototype that are cut off at the top look like a furrowing brow, giving it a menacing look.

I also like the new Camaro, but I hope they have some cool options for it like Ford has for the Mustang (Bullit, California Special etc.). I agree, the concept headlights were better, but I think it would be neat to see the "blacked out" option, similar to the '69 SS.

haha yeah. The thing I love about these horsepower wars is that you can buy a new muscle car, do burnouts in front of your neighbor's driveway, and scream "it's 1969 baby!"
