Time magazine has posted a list of "The 50 Worst Cars of All Time" each complete with a short blurb of why it is on the list. A lot of the usual suspects are included along with a few that will probably prove to be controversial.

It looks like a tree hugger made that list. Several of the modern cars were on the list just because they are big and guzzle gas? I can think of several cars that should take the place of the Explorer Excursion and Hummer.

I owned an '82 ford Escort station wagon that was an utter piece of junk, constantly overheated, seems like I was always changing the thermostat. The timing eventually went out on it, I wish I could have shot that car

And hated the way it was built, could hardly work on it with the motor all shoved together, couldn't get my hand anywhere in there

Cadillac is just now recovering from the brand imagine hit it took from that turd

I'm a huge car nut and I haven't heard of even half of those cars... its interesting to know what you can find by looking around on these forums!

"Tree-Huggers" is right! The really funny thing is that none of those cars emit worse CO2 emissions than the new biodiesel (which is pretty much ALL carbon-oxide compounds), which is well-embraced by all environmental activists. Go figure. On top of that, some of those cars were actually decent cars.

The BMW 7 series is a nice car...i wounder why it made the list.

ford explore truly suck....lots of ROLL-OVER and fire issue...can be found on most ford.

AMC gremlin is a nightmare

chysler labaron, my father almoost die in this car. after a rear end collision while sitting at a red light. The driver and seat detach from the floor and when flying through he windshield. Thank you god for saving him.

ford pinto.....american honda civic with lots of issue.

I just don`t see how the chevy SSR made the list. it a nice retro truck.

I didn't like the SSR because of it's freakishly high weight. The thing weighed 6000 lbs! I still don't know why it was so heavy. Was it built with a lead body on a brick and mortar frame?

and the DMC wasnt his "drug car" it was his Dream but in order to save his dream he had to do some not so admirable things.
