Default I got yet another car!

So my grandfather decided he shouldn't drive anymore, and yesterday he gave me the keys to his 1997 Cadillac Deville Concours. Just turned 100,000km (62500 mi). It's got the Northstar 4.6L V8 with 300hp. It's a nice metallic dark green with off white interior in absolutely mint condition (pic uploaded). I've been taking the car it's whole life too.

The only question now is what to do with it... I'm up in Canada for the summer, and I need to get it down to California.. don't really want to drive 2500miles but shipping is really expensive... so I guess I have to make a decision before I go back to school at the end of the month.

Here's a link to a pic of the interior, I uploaded one of the exterior

I don't think it was the mileage he was concerned with, but the actual 2500 mile journey that he probably usually prefers by flight.

Don't you already have a couple of cars that you keep stored in Canada for when you are up there. I think I remember you telling me about a Ford Explorer you had up there or something like that. You could possibly just store it there during the time you are back in Cali.

Oh, I did a whole car switch last year when I was up here... took my Explorer back to California and brought the Infiniti up to Canada for my mom to drive when she's here, and me for the summer. So I have no room for the Caddy up here. It's going to California, the question is whether I'm shipping it or driving it. As Johnnyboy said, it's nothing about the mileage on the car just taking such a long journey thats so much easier by airplane!
I'm going to make a decision next week sometime. I love driving around in the car though, so nice on the highway. A bit hard to maneuvre though!

One thing is for sure though, if you did drive it down it should be a very comfy drive.

The list is pretty long... let me see:

Dual zone automatic climate control, power seats, driver's memory seat, 12 disc cd changer, onboard trip computer, zebrano wood, heated seats, 4 way adjustable lumbar support, rear a/c vents with fan control, power moonroof, steering wheel controls for audio and a/c..... that's about all i can think of.. haha

I believe I recall you telling me about a Ford Explorer you had up there or certain thing like that. You could probably just shop it there throughout the time you are back in Cali.
