Now that the Trans Am is all but complete I have decided to work on something a little different until the next car. I will be doing a 89 Z28 here in a few weeks however until then I have decided to redo a John Deer Tractor!

A good friend of mine ownes about 300+ JD tractors and is into restoring them. His idea of restoring and MY idea are totally different. I got a tractor off off him and going to redo it and do some custom work on it to make it look cool, no reason a tractor should not look cool.

Here is what we have to start with. It is a 12HP hydrostat 312 model.



Here is some of the mods we plan so far!
1. Complete custom paint job
2. Hand build exhaust header (like a motorcycle)
3. K&N air filter
4. 20HP shot of NITROUOS
5. Alum racing seat

hahaha.. nice! I have a 1990 John Deere.. I couldn't tell you what model, but it's an icon.. I like the idea of racing this thing though. Tractor races are somewhat popular in Wisconsin.
