yea but lets see it beat a lambo in a drag race... and it was a modded lambo in the video i posted.. and that evo had enough race packages to fit every car in the frakin world with one..

IDK.. the viper and vette aren't muscle anymore.. they are super-cars.. thats a whole different world there.. but lets here some opinions.. what is the difference between muscle cars and super cars? and what makes a car a super car? now im curious what you all think :-D

Originally a musclecar was considered a family car with a high powered engine (GTOs, Chevelles, etc). The old school definition would exclude Mustangs/Camaros that many today consider musclecars.

A few things.

1) That is only a Countach, the best 0-60 on that car is 4.7 seconds and it is a pig.
2) That muscle car is ANYTHING but stock, I hear a cam swap in there for sure which means I am willing to bet it has been jetted and tuned.
3) The Muscle car is on race tires, the Lambo is on street tires.
4) That lambo is far more stock than the muscle car, so calling the lambo modded compared to the muscle car says absolutely nothing.
5) The Countach had some really nasty wheel spin off the line.
6) I have seen Modded Supras go faster than that, I have seen modded Eclipses go faster than that.

My point: by no means is this American Muscle at its best, and that race says nothing about those two vehicles, it was an unfair race.

i dont its a modded fast car vs a modded fast car

no one knows any of the mods that either car has

and either way they had lots of money into each car and if you dump lots of money into any car it will be that fast

IDK if that goes for 4 bangers... lol... but if we compare prices.. then it was more effective to work on the american muscle seeing how it beat the import..

This race is comparing Apples to Oranges.

The Dodge is a drag car and built to run 1/4 mile. It is quicker in the 1/4 than the Lambo because it is designed to do just that and pretty much only that. The dodge would not corner and probably has just enough brakes to shut it down at the end of the dragstrip. At the end of the 1/4 mile the dodge is probably prett close to its max speed & RPM. This car is purpose built to drag race and low ET.

The Lambo is a all around performance car and designed for more than just the 1/4 mile sprint. If the track were a little longer (lets say 1/2 mile) the lambo would go trucking past the dodge. The lambo has given up acc for top speed. This car was designed to have a good balance for ALL areas of performance. The Lambo will not only do a decent job going in a straight line it does decent in the corners and braking, it is a all around road car and not a straight line drag car.

We have no idea what the mods on the 2 cars are however i would venture to say by watching the video the Lambo is not built up (by the owner) to be a drag car.

well.. you said ANY engine.. lol.. :-P i love V8's ... everything from the way they sound to they way they rattle the earth!! the power is AWESOME ... *cough cough* im not power hungry at all.. lol .... but back on topic.. i agree with the fact that its apples and oranges.. but i would still take the muscle over a lambo any day.. but in all honesty.. i think a good car depends on the driver.. and the tune... i think oyu could make most cars (i say most because i have my reserved opinions about some cars) awesome... or they are GOOD cars to SOMEONE on this planet... i personally hate anything thats not a V8... but thats just me..
