Interesting video.. things really can go wrong so fast, that's why I think that these "circuit races" and even on occasion highway roll races are just bad ideas. I had a scary incident with the CTS-V.. I was driving on Main street (a heavy traffic street) at night. I took a sharp turn in first gear after a light w/o traction/stability.. with enough throttle to send me into a spin. I ended up 180 degrees in the opposite lane on the other side of the road. Luckily, there was little traffic that night, and someone was looking over me. I always always always go 2nd gear for turns, or do a quick shift now... with traction on. I don't like to think what would have happened had there been traffic... but it would not have been good. I think it's important to get used to the power of your car.. no matter if it's 250hp or 500hp. When in doubt, take it easy, and get home safe.

I was very surprised to see his face after the accident basically normal. Its amazing what plastic and reconstructive surgery can do these days.

That could happen to anybody, not just 4-banger drivers, so no need to be hating on small displacement. That does suck quite a bit, though careful driving could have prevented this.
