Default Theoretical Build Thread

Well, I thought this would be a fun little experiment. This thread is dedicated to picking a car that is the opposite of yours, and why you picked it. For example, you own a muscle car, or like muscle cars, choose an import. Import drivers, choose muscle. Euros are honestly in the middle, so choose one that you'd be less likely to own (prefer import? choose muscle etc). We'll set a budget of $35,000 (new or used). Feel free to post pictures!

I'll go first for example purposes.

I own a Mustang, so I will choose an import. I'd have to go with Mitsubishi EVO IX MR... I think they look pretty neat, not to mention they're pretty darn fast if you work it the right way. I'd try to get a different spoiler, because the wing is a little over-the-top, but otherwise, I think those things are pretty sweet. I'd probably get it chipped to increase boost pressure, get different rims, and change up the exhaust. That would run close to $30-35K.

It is nice to see a thread with putting effort into open mindedness.

I'm not surprised that kendallcschm doesn't want to take part in this type of discussion

As for myself... I like about anything that's fast so...

I mean something you'd actually want to drive. So don't post that or like a minivan. Post something interesting. Let's see em!

The Polar opposite of a Minivan is a Lotus Exige.

Wow, that is the exact opposite of what a wing is supposed to be and do, those 2 crossing boards will cause major drag and wont even increase downforce

I think you just exceeded the 35K price limit lol

As for me I would say my pick would be a Chrysler 300C

Well.... I can say that this is a difficult one. Being as I have owned everything but a minivan, that doesn't leave me with much of a choice (I have a full size Chevy G20 at the moment, but never a mini). I think I'm gonna have to sit on this one for a few days. I'll get back to y'all with a list when I'm finished.

You own a minivan but you're partial to muscle cars (like your name says). Choose an import!

I'd go with the new Camaro, or a Nissan Altima 3.5 SE Coupe.

The Camaro because I think it's the start of GM's movement in the right direction. I like the styling, though I'm not in love with it. I think it will be a good performance car for the money. I just hope it doesn't get too popular.

The Altima 3.5 SE coupe is a nice car. I worked at a Nissan dealership for abit last summer, and I was really impressed with the Altima Coupes. The styling is decent, performance is surprisingly good (despite the front wheel drive) and the interior styling is quite pleasant.
