Default NAME THAT PART

kinda like John's "Name that Car" thread but deals with parts. You just gotta name the part, no specific year, make, or model unless otherwise noted

First Up:
What is this?

I think you have to realize that this forum isn't such a busy place. It might take days before it is guessed properly. Just learn to be patient. It even takes a few days sometimes for "Name that car" to be answered.

I actually know very little about the parts in an engine. So I will probably not come to this thread again.

It's an air conditioning compressor.

I wasn't gonna play since I figured that I probably have an unfair advantage, being a super duper genius and all, but you seem as if you'd like to go ahead and move on to the next one.

I would tell ya what car it is from aswell, but I don't want to come off as cocky

On a side note; why haven't you told us that you knew someone with a 1968 Chrysler Imperial?

I just found this image in my computer, I have no idea where it came from. I encourage the staff to participate
