Default Are Mustangs considered "girls" cars??

Seems like when I usually see someone in a Mustang, it's either a woman or a guy driving his wife/girlfriends car (the front license plate will say something like "Molly's Mustang' or something like that)

When we was younger (late 80's/early 90's), it seemed like a lot of guys had Mustangs, but not anymore.

Haha prepare for some possible verbal attacks for that one. I'm sure those mustang guys will love that one lol

I hope I don't get flamed too bad for this, because like I said earlier, when we were teenagers, we owned Mustangs and Camaro's and did a hell of a lot of illegal racing to boot.

But it seems like the times have changed, and not sure why. Speaking of Camaro, it seems like alot of women drive those as well, compared to how it used to be

Default manly or womanly I dunno!

I've always considered the Mustang to be a mans car. As far back as I can remember, it was always the guys that had these. I will say yes, my mom had a little bitty one back in the 70's. Man that was a tiny car. Mom is the only gal I've ever known to have a Mustang.

I've always been fond of the Nissan Maxima, but my friends say, nay, that's not a car for a girl/lady, it's a man's car!

Oh, well. dare to be different!

WTF? are you being serious? believe me my mustang is all testosterone. just because you see some girls driving around in some wimpy V6 mustangs doesnt make ALL Mustangs for girls. I really hate those V6 mustangs for that reason. there are too many of them around giving the mustang a bad name.

Certain makes / colors are more favored by the female type ... but pretty much any mustang can be a manly car.

You hardly see any girls around here driving Mustangs. Their are a few, but most of them are guys driving their Cobra's or GT's. Chicks usually drive the V6 mustangs.

Cool

Well it's defiantly a car you can get some play in. Especially the older ones without the arm rest in the middle. So i guess in that way it's a ladies car. Personally though, seeing a good looking chick who new how to drive one would really turn me on.

haha, superchargedmustanggt you dog. I think the V8s are definitely masculine, but I can really appreciate a girl who could drive it (stick etc). I know one or two myself, and I have tons of respect for that.

I'd maybe consider a fox body to be mildly more of a girl's car, but in recent years Stangs, especially GTs, have been nothing but beasts.

I would say the Fox Body is a sexy car. Especially with a built 5.0 under the hood.

Now, the V-6's on the other hand......

I personally see it in two ways. I have a friend his dad drives a corvette and i was talking about mustangs with them and there response it was a girls car, my response to them corvettes are an old mans car lol.

anyway i think like someone said in an earlier post it depends on the color or the car and such i see regular cheap mustangs as the woman's mustang and the gt as the center mustang then i see saleen, roush, ect. as the mans version.
If you ask me thats what it depends on is stuff like that and the sound of the car quiet VS Loud and racing like.

What is one reason for the corvette to be known as an old mans car "soundless so it doesn't hurt there ears" haha theres a magazine me and my dad looked at and it said something like that. no offense to anyone with a corvette i like them alot myself especially the ZR1 coming out.

At least in Buffalo you only see older guys driving them because they're the only people with the money... except today, I saw a guy in his 30s driving a black on black Z06, and I thought to myself, "I want to be him."

I don't think color is a BIG issue with women. I think its engines and if its a convertable . Iv'e only seen 1 girl drive a hardtop mustang to school and that was it. V6 engine obviously, because girls just want something that looks nice. I read on some research that women are found to go after the cup holders, not the apprence, mpg, or engine! Sadly.. I drive a v6 mustang...
