Default Kenne Bell S/C Install Mustang GT

Hey peeps! It's been a while since I've updated on here about my car. I recently installed a Kenne Bell 2.1L Twin Screw Supercharger @ 9psi intercooled. Here are the pictures:
Fresh in the packaging!

Workspace... I love the light I got! haha

Disassembly starting...

Upper manifold off
Cylinder ports before cleaning

After one side cleaned

Blower is strapped down! (not literally)

just to comment on how it drives now... WOW. It's like a completely different car. There's power everywhere.. the only trouble is getting traction through 1st and 2nd gear. When the tires hook up, it's savage. Haha, I really enjoyed the installation process (took about 20 hours.. which is longer than expected), but the result is 100000x better. I'll eventually have videos with this thing!

So where's that video?

Too bad you are a drag racer... before and after time slips would have been cool.

Haha.. the weather hasn't been to friendly to make a video.. but we might get a break this weekend. I'll work on it! I actually did drag race at a track over the summer when I only had longtube headers, 3" catback, a short throw shifter, and 275s out back. It was only an 1/8th mile unfortunately, but I ran in the 8.9-9.2 second range. I know it's not that good, but it was my first time out. I couldn't get below a 2.2 60' which was really frustrating.

The track is closed for the season now, but come May, I'll be out there running her hard. I hope to get lower control arms and subframe connectors over winter to help keep her straight and planted. I'll be sure to update, and I'll get that video going soon!

It can be tricky getting a good launch at the drag strip in a manual transmission. Too much rpm and you spin and too little results in a nose diving bog. You gotta find that launch rpm that gives you just a very slight tire spin which is easier said than done.

I was experimenting between 1800 and 2200 rpms, but I just kept getting spin. I think it was because I would launch at that rpm but mash it right after.. I'm not sure. I need more practice! Anyways, here's a video!
