Umm why did they get the 2 cars together and talk as if we were about to see some racing and we only get a view of them soft launching from behind and then the video quickly cuts away?... and we don't even get to look under the hood

For as much as I love Mustangs.. something doesn't seem right about this race.. but... this car seems a little more fitting to take on the veyron:

well that mustang had alot of mods.. it was quite powerful.. and the launch showed the mustang winning... but the veyron would win with top speed......

Well, we have to go by their word. They didn't show a dyno run or even the Mustangs engine.

I really wouldn't call that a proper race. It looked like both of them eased into it. The Veyron certainly didn't do it's launch control. I'm not sure why they showed the poor angles that they did and only showed very short segments of the "race" instead of one good angle and the entire race.

It still looks like a very nice and very fast Mustang that may very well rival a Veyron (10.2s 1/4 mile is extremely hard to top on a standard street surface), but those guys definitely need to work on their video making skills.

lol i completely agree but they do show the top of the engine in the vid.. but here look at the site i posted:

That engine doesn't look all that modded, it just looks like the 5.4 out of the Ford GT with the stock supercharger, that even looks like the stock pulley. I'd want to see dyno figures before I call the victor, though I'd much rather have the Bugatti. It can handle around the corners better and rather more exclusive.

I might have to disagree with you there. Yes, against this Mustang, I'm sure it does.. but for the longest time Bugatti wouldn't allow top gear to run a time on their track because it really is a heavy car, one that would get beat up on byScuderias, ZR1s, GT2s.. you get the picture.

Don't get me wrong though. The Bugatti is sex on wheels as far as I'm concerned.
