If you want a 4v engine, do a full swap. Ford racing sells their engines. you can buy an engine out the the gt500 that has 4v. Rousch racing makes engines that do even better than that performance wise. But if you aren't looking to spend the money, then just stick with the 3v that you have, and stick to the forced induction kits. If not, NOS is nice. If kept MODERATED and not dumped in all the time.

As far as I know, it would be much more effective to swap engines if you want 4 valves. Don't think that the 3V is bad... it's not. You can get mega power from that with a decent blower setup. I have a friend who runs a turbo 2V '99 GT with 6 lbs of boost, so anything is possible.. you just have to be careful!

haha.. it's nice.. but swaps aren't easy.. and there's more to it when you're running at least a 70% increase in power... Johnnyboy definitely could tell you more than me, but I know you'd need at least a different clutch.

if you're gonna get an engine, just get a roush stang overall.. it'll save you time and probably a lot of hassle. you'd need a new clutch because of all the new horsepower you'd be pumping out. crate motors definitely have a purpose, but in my opinion, not until your stock engine is literally dead. if I were you, stick with the 4.6 3V, and make it yours.

You can swap heads which would be easier than doing a full engine swap. If you want a 4v then buy one. Don't be stupid and waste your money.

I think it more so adds potential rather than raw power.

It might add a little performancewise due to more flow.. but it would have more potential.

You would get more power out of bolt ons. But seriously, if you get an 05, just leave it a 3v. Don't worry about swapping heads. If you want a 4v car then get a cobra or Mach 1

Depends which year you want. If you want a terminator cobra (03/04), The run anywhere from 22k - 26k. 99-02 cobra's will be about 15-17k. 03/04 Mach 1's will be about 17k-19k.
