Default Well...

I got the 97 Escort finally after 2 or so months of talk. So far all I did was put some brake fluid in and checked the brakes. All the sudden the brakes got really low Sunday night after driving one of my friends home from a party, the brakes look good but I'll need new pads within a few hundred miles, my guess is the vaccum pump, but im not to worried about it. Also need a power steering annd trans fluid flushbut it can wait a bit longer. Only modification I put on it is a bumper sticker that says "im not tailgating IM DRAFTING!"

consider this, going turbo isn't as easy as just adding a turbo. You have to retune the ECU, probably upgrade the fuel system, prolly an SAFC and some decent injectors, front mount or side mount intercooler, new exhaust header, oil feed lines and what not.
Just a lil friendly insite

Hence why I <3 Superchargers. Instant boost, not much work to get there. hahaha, but turbos are really great little machines. Most power per pound of boost.

I prefer Supers over Turbos too but Turbos offer bigger HP gains

Ok, you have a car with a ford focus engine. All that might get you to 150hp. You would really spend thousands on forged internals, tuning, piping, and a turbo, etc. to make your escort fast? Why don't you just put a body kit on it while your at it. Good luck racing a mustang
