No, it's manufactred by a corporation founded in America. You didn't have to mention the parts content

Ok, whatever, look at the sticker, American parts content is above 80% guaranteed. I would know, I own one, and on top of that I've taken a lot of it apart. The radio was made in Mexico, and possibly the Transmission, but that's it.

exactly!!! and seriously, just cause he said "It's big, bad, and American" doesn't mean he was reffering to it being 100% American-built... And I really agree with the new styling, it looks so mean! Just like it will jump off the screen and speed away! I love it! and seriously quit fighting about this.. it's ridiculous just let it go =(

At least he didn't make the mistake of saying that the Mustang is Italian, whether or not an Italian designed the next generation. The fact remains: it's not where the parts are manufactured that determines what nationality a car is; but where the car is designed and built, and the badge that gets pinned to the hood. The Mustang is, and will always be, an American car. However, you may as well just enjoy the car while it exists, because with the way the US gov't is going, you may never see an American performance car roll out of an assembly-line again (not a gas-fueled combustion engine-power one anyways).

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the God.

I never said the Mustang was Italian, Apollo just said that the Mustang picture in the other thread was designed by Italians and I stated that I liked that one compared to the pic in this thread

Agree to disagree, but it's one of the only production cars where torque is higher than horsepower. The only other cars like that are SL65 AMG, but let's face it, if you choose to spend $200k on a car, and you go with the SL, you're stupid.

It looks pretty much the same from that picture, but from what I've read, it is going to have a "shoulder" over the rear fenders and an updated interior.
I think Ford knows they have a pretty good design on the current car and don't want to change it up too much.

How does that make it the "torque God"? If I REALLY wanted torque from American Muscle I would go with a Viper or Vette

To me, "torque God" equals most torque.

haha, I suppose, but are the Viper and Vette truly muscle cars? The Viper clocks a 3.4 0-60mph and the Z06 vette is known to do 3.5 0-60mph, and both have 200mph top ends. If it can beat out Ferraris and Lambos on a track, I'd call it a supercar.
