Default AEM Cold Air Intake for Mustang

I just bought an AEM CAI for my stang. Do these usually come with installation instructions? Yes, I know, it's simple... but I'm not that mechanically inclined

They usually do have instructions, but if not, you simple remove the stock air filter box and induction tube to it and replace it with the new tube. Don't worry...even a 5 year old girl could do it.

...and if for some reason you aren't able to do it, then I'd like to say, "HAHA" in advanced

Yea, they should. I have a MAC and they came with instructions, but I didn't use them because they weren't the best, but quoted "A five year old could do it". Even if they don't, you can always google instructions on the internet and mabye someone will even have pictures of the process makeing it easier to understand. Mine is a fenderwell kit and the inner fender air filter is a pain in the ass, but when you done its worth is

Did you install it yet?

When I was looking for a CAI for my Golf I originally bought AEM. The fit, to say the least, was AWFUL! I ended up going with Neuspeed, and it fit perfect. Needless to say, I won't be buying AEM anytime soon

At least you guys have the option for a cold air intake, there's no way I could fit one in the Talon with the turbo where it is and the size of the stock MAF. Do mustangs use a mass air system or are the engines tuned enough to where it doesn't need one?

It's wierd that AEM CAI systems don't fit, considering their the best CAIs on the market...awkward...

I'm pretty sure they do not... because I know this installation is incredibly easy, but I'm not the best person to ask.

I would have gone K&N if they were just s little less expensive.

The AEM CAI felt very cheaply made compared to the Neuspeed one that is on there now.

Yes we use mass air meters.
