Opinion: Porsche Panamera
There's no doubting the Panamera is a very fast 4 door, but I have to say, I think it's one of the ugliest new cars built! Yes I would rather drive it than most new cars, but I especially hate the rear end. Does anyone else share my opinion on the looks of this thing?

ahhh it is not too bad, looks like they tried to use a 911 rear bumpr and make it a hatch back.
I will stick with the Austin Martin!

Instead of that Porsche, I'd go with an M5. But it doesn't look to bad IMO.

i don't mind it. Its aimed at a different market segment, and i think they did pretty well with what they had. As long as they keep offering their other lines i'm fine

Yeah true. I appreciate the technology, but I just can't get over that rear end. I agree with f-body.. I think I'd have to go with an M5 or CTS-V

I think I'd go with the M5. The CTS-V may have slightly better performance, but the BMW will hold it's value way better, and it's so much classier/better looking haha. Yeah I hear you about that rear end, it annoys me almost as much as the Z3 M Coupes... ugly as hell >.<

In terms of price, interior features, and acceleration time, I think the Audi RS6 is a better choice. But DO NOT GET ME WRONG. The Panamera is an absurdly impressive car; I am completely wow-ed with its superb handling, acceleration, comfort, and even ride quality. I bet the Panamera also gets better gas mileage due to fewer cylinders. But then there ARE fewer cylinders, lol. And the Panamera is a pretty sick looking car but I think the new Audi RS6 might come out in front in terms of appearance. Both are kings, but the Panamera might be a tad overpriced.

I agree with the overpricing. The RS6, IMO, isn't relevant because they don't even sell them here. When it comes to the German power elite, I have to stick with the M5... you can still get a 6 spd manual on it... does the Panamera offer that?

That is the standard, optional 7 speed PDK, unless you get the turbo then you are stuck with the 7 speed.

I like them and I don't like them... its hard to explain... I mean its got the sleek porsche look but at the same time I don't think porsche should make a 4 door, it takes away from the "sports car" look.

I find it unattractive because it looks too 911ish which makes it look like one of those tasteless stretch limousines. Perhaps if it looked more Cayenneish I would like it more.
