Default Volkwagen

Volkswagen is already #1 in Europe and #2 in China in front of GM. Volkswagen want to beat Toyota as #1 auto manufacturer in the world. This means that Volkswagen will be targeting the North American auto market. In recent years, VW hasn't really gotten a hold in the North American automotive market. In the next year or two, VW will make further attempts to corner the US/Canada/Mexico market by offering new vehicles like a new minivans and crossovers. These new vehicles will have low MSRP to compete with Toyota while still offering that famous German luxury. When car manufacturers compete, we win.

Quite frankly, they'll never be #1 in the U.S. market. They just don't have that broad of a line-up to do so. Plus, GM is really gaining ground, while Toyota is still remaining competitive. VW would really have to up their game.

they would have to come up with a performance coupe a pickup (which they are making a pickup) and a 7 passenger suv (like a surburban type thing) and a bigger sedan that would actually sell (phaeton = failure )
