Default Audi S5

I read an article stating it's the Audi's attack on the American sport coupe scene...they are doing ok IMO.
Sort of reminds me of another BMW chaser like a lot of cars now days (according to Top Gear...but then, they are sort of off their rocker)
It's a descendant of the A5, another hot car...but this one gets better traction and more power...thoughts?

I saw one in traffic a couple of weeks ago. At first I saw the LED like parking lights and thought "Woah is that an R8?" Then as I saw the rest of the car I realized it was a new S5, and it looked badass. I have never paid much attention to Audi in the past, but they have certainly earned my attention in the past few years.

I kinda agree with Johnny on Audi. They just recently started making better cars. I like the S5 and the R8, but both kind of seem like poser cars... you know, statements. I like cars that are about more go than show... like the RS4.

I love this car. The greenhouse reminds me a little of the Bentley Brooklands. I think this will be my next car.... if things go well.

I heard that Audi cancelled all new orders for the 08 model in the US and offered everyone who ordered one a spot for an 09 because of how weak the dollar is getting compared to the Euro and that Audi wasn't making enough on the sales of 08s because of it.

Where'd you hear that?
Not that I'm saying it's false..but that's a pretty crazy statement since Audi designed the car to come back into the American Sport Coupe scene.... who knows...there might be truth in what you heard.

That would suck for Audi loyalists, especially mi amigo Aaron, he loves his Audi.
