Next Lamborghini
It's called the Lamborghini Embolada, and was designed by Luca Serafini who was born in Modena..so not a newbie in exotic cars...I like it...but I think it only looks good in the Super Leggera model, with Gunmetal coloring...yellow/orange just looks so wrong on it...
and I personally think it looks like the nose got chomped off...still a nice car.

I haven't seent his one yet. It looks pretty cool although a little short and scrunched looking. Unless it is of Lotus Elise/Exige size.

yeah I'm so-so on this design. I'm sure it's sexy as hell in person, but it seems a little nubby (?). Ferrari always talks about being pure Italian, as compared to the Northern (Italy) based Lamborghini who's kind of a little German.

Looks like a Superleggera with anorexia. The midsection looks rather odd, maybe this rendering just doesn't do the design complete justice. I can't wait to see more.

Lamborghini is owned by Audi Group...which is controlled by VW..which kind of anounces "GERMANY!!" so..yeah, they're gonna seem a tad german.
Also, it's design is based off the Gallardo, so that comparison is probably a good-one...I'm rather sad about that though, I think the Gallardo is ugly compared to the Murcielago
but I hear Lambo is going to make an SV for the Murc soon..so I don't mind too much

Too bad Lamborghini said no to bringing back the Miura, the concept they had of it was sexy.

I know! The Miura would've been a much better idea.

wow, that's actually the first time I've seen the actual concept of the new Miura...I really like it...
I'm tempted to get a petition together to send to Lambo, try to keep them true to the original Lamborghini love machines...well, the Countach was sort of ugly...and wasn't that great..but it was still nice in it's own little way..really if I had to look back on Lambo...they should bring back the Miura, Diablo, and keep building the Murcielago and Gallardo...those four are really their heavy hitters throughout time..in my opinion. There were just too many complaints about the Countach.
I'd also like to see them bring up something to compete with the Ferrari F430...and Ferrari should just ditch the Enzo...or redesign the front...I was looking at one this morning and a kid next to me asked if it was a model for "Speed Racer"...and I agree lol

Ferrari has an F70 in the works, I think they are planning on revealing it at probably Geneva next year or the year after. As for the Miura, the design was so far ahead of its time. Aside from the very obvious 1960's/70's build quality of the originals, that design could very easily fly today. Especially if they were to build it just as the concept is, give it the typical Audi Quattro system, it could be an amazing car. If I were to build it I would give it a V8 or possibly their TDi12. The design to me screams Ferrari Killer more than the Gallardo, so I'd try to keep it in the class of the F430 and win people over on the looks without getting too crazy on power. Keep it crazy light so the V8 would be more than enough to power it.

Lamborghinis are over-rated...
whenever one hears the word "supercar" they always think "Ferrari", "Lamborghini", or "Italy (or Italian)"

One look at an Italian sports car such as anything spilling out of Ferrari or Lamborghini and the first things that come to mind just by looking at it is "that looks like a super car." They were some of the first vehicles to enter the realm of what one would consider to be a supercar; sleek shape with female lines, high top speeds and very little practicality. Ferrari has had its name tied to "supercar" since Enzo first started building cars, and Lamborghini has had its name tied to it since they quit making tractors and let some young designers and engineers build a car that looks like a stealth fighter with oogly eyes. Other marks that build the occasional supercar such as Chevrolet, Porsche, Jaguar and Chrysler are not best known for those cars nor do they frequently make them, where every Ferrari and Lamborghini can count as a supercar (with the exception of the LM002, that was a tank). It's easier to associate a title like supercar with a brand that frequently makes them and are known for it.
