Default Thinking about buying the new Challenger

Took a look at the new Dodge Challengers that are coming out early next year, thinking seriously about trading my truck in for one, still have to read up more on it.

If any of you guys have any info to pass along, I'm all ears.

My first car was an Old White '80 Challanger and man, I LOVED THAT CAR!!!!! Many a great memory, but I was young and dumb and ran it into the ground.

Here's a preview shot, looks nice

EDIT: can a mod move this to the Chrysler section, though this was for ALL domestics. Sorry

Looks like a sweet car! I hope you get it, and tell us about it.

I'm sure they'll put the 6.1L 425 horsepower hemi in the R/T version... and there will prolly be a 340HP regular 5.7L hemi version also. Hopefully they don't make and wimpy stripped down version with a V6 and cheapo wheels etc.

Yeah, that's what I'm wary about myself, a generic stripped down version of the original, because I remember how that old '80 of mine ran and sounded

With all the environment standards now, I'm sure they will be going more for efficiency, but I AM gonna test drive one and let you know what I think.

The official pricing has been announced on the 425HP 6.1L Hemi SRT-8 version at $40,095.

The new challenger that is coming out does look very sharp. If I had the money I would purchase one. I'm almost attempted to sell a few of the cars I have around here that I don't really drive to much.
