Default Dodge Ram

I don't know who out there has owned or rode in a Dodge Ram but they are definitely worth the money. I grew up riding in one and always loved the spacious feel in it. I do not however like the gas prices.

lol you aren't kidding about the gas guzzling. I've never owned one but, I've heard horror stories from my Ram drivin buddies regarding gas mileage... but they keep buying them inspite of these gas prices. I suppose I am no better concidering I own a 6.0 liter Yukon Denali

Yea i own a landrover which isn't too horrible on gas milege (about 15mpg) but ive heard that the ram is horrible. I also don't like the car in general I think it is rather ugly and bulky.

The think with all v8 trucks is that people don't know how to drive conservatively. I have used a few different models of the ram over the years, even the 5.7 hemi version. If you don't put your foot to the floor at every stop sign or stop light, it's really not a problem. It's nice to have power on tap when you need it though. And I do quite like the ride and steering response on the newer models. As a matter of fact, if it I had not just bought the Goat, I would have bought the #137 Rumble Bee p/u back in Sept of 06. I started out with a Dodge Warlock for my first vehicle (which I still have) and will always buy Dodge when the need for a p/u arises.

Has anyone seen the new 2010 Heavy duty? I don't get a Dodge vibe anymore, I get a more Chevy vibe from it.

I quite like the Ram...you gotta love the power they come with. The new trucks are actually quite nice, even "luxurious" as far as work trucks go. And the interior treatment? MUCH better than a lot of trucks (but not all) in the past couple of decades. That and they're nicer to drive. I haven't had the chance yet to drive the '09 1500, but I'm sure it's quite the ride. I don't get the GM vibe you guys are talking about...I don't get any foreign vibes from it at all. The vibes I get from GM, however, are vibes of cheapness (which hasn't rubbed off into the Ram like it has on the Calibre).
