Yup, Holden is probably the most well known. Pontiac's new GTO is based off of the Holden Monaro. Also I think I read somewhere that the new upcoming Chevy Camaros and Pontiac G8s are based off of Holden's Commodore.

I wanna see Ford bring the Falcon over here. I hear in Australia it's like a 4 door awd mustang. Me likey.

When I was younger I thought that the Subaru Outback meant it was an Australian car. O.o

Also, the Aussies have their own versions of the cars we drive. I remember this one Aussie tv show a while back, where the main character drove a Charger, but it didn't look like any of the Chargers we have in North America; it was an entirely different body style. It looked almost like an AMC Javelin.

Yeah.. I guess Ford and Holden are having their own horsepower wars. The new super falcon has a 420hp V8, or a 400hp TT V6. Then Holden's machine (G8 essentially) has 400 something horsepower, but a rumored LS7 500hp sedan is on the way.

there was another car that was made in Australia

its an Australian Ford Falcon converted into a Police car for the tv show "Mad Max".

always been a fan of the v8 supercar series its great seeing the holdens battle it out with the ford falcons always been a fan of the falcons myself dont know why but ive always had a like for the look of them.
