Default Nissan GT-R!

Check out that video Johnny just posted with the GT-R. Man it sounds mean. I cant wait until I get mine. I get the first one at our local Nissan Dealer, but the wait is killing me.

When is it that they are supposed to be out?

I'm very curious how they'll perform. Hopefully they'll be able to keep the weight down, which seems to be difficult nowadays with all the stuff we require in cars today.

The Tokyo Auto Show has started and here are some galleries of the Production version of the GT-R.

The one thing I didn't like about the prototype was the nose, particularly the dark park extending under the headlights. As you can see in the production pics, it is now body color and looks much better.

I loved the front the way it was before and I love it the way it is now. The entire car is pure badass, and it beat the 911 turbo around the nurembergring or however you spell it.

Edmund's just tested the GT-R and it ran 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 11.6 seconds @ 120.9 mph. Pretty damned good and it launches like a beast.

Hey GT-R have you put in your preorder yet? I just read that they are now taking preorders in the US.

Yeh my dealer called me the other day to let me know that they ordered it. It is going to cost me more than I initially thought and I might have to get a second job lol. but I'll make it work

The R-34 has the styling I tend to associate with a Skyline, but for the price the R-35 is a hell of a bargain for a high performance vehicle. Especially now that tuning houses such as Top Secret and JUN have been tinkering with it and are just now figuring out how to crack the ECU on it, perhaps comparing it to a 911 is a bit of an unfair fight for Porsche. I'd see if it can outperform some cars higher up the exotic food chain, such as the best Italy has to offer. Obviously for fit, finish and craftsmenship the Italians would take the cake, but in performance it's anyone's guess.

I'm genuinely interested to see how the ZR1 will match up.

Now that you mention it I am too. I'm rather leaning towards the ZR1 for that one, that thing is going to be a beast.

Well it wont have AWD like lots of it's competition, so it may lose some of it's potential due to traction issues in a drag race.
