Default STI or EVO V8 swap?

I have absolutely no idea how feasible this would be, but I would LOVE to throw a V8 into an STI. Any thoughts?

The engine bay is way too small.. they can't even fit the radiator and intercooler in the same area.

... the swap I really wanna see that could definitely be feasible is a 3.5L Ecoboost TT V6 from the SHO into a AWD fusion with a manual tranny.. that would be sweetness.

That would definitely be badass.
i was just thinking that since the STI has a boxer engine it would have a wider bay and thus more room for a bigger engine. A hood with a tumor could compensate for the increased vertical height.

i think a small 4.6L ford engine could fit into it.. you would need to do some body mods but it might fit.. its gonna be tight though

Yea, the v8 swaps are pretty badass, that's the website I'm usually on now since this place seems to have partially died

I personally wouldn't swap a V8 into either the Evo or the Sti. It'd put way too much weight up front and spoil the handling both cars are ledgendary for. It isn't hard to squeeze 500+ horsepower out of either the STi or Evo powerplants, and I have seen some above 1000hp while still keeping weight under control.

7.0L

and no squeezing involved, the power is already there.

I agree with Mesarius here though, you'd sort of ruin the car by putting a V8 in those cars. It's not very feasible, and all you'd do is overburden the front axle.
