I use to own an RX7 a while back. I loved that car. It was the best of everything, good gas mileage, speed and a hot look. I drove it for three years and a lot of miles and I don't think I every had to repair anything but tires and brakes. That was before Ford bought Mazda. I am not sure how they are since that.

I guess the RX8 has a love or hate styling. Myself, I think it is one of the ugliest cars ever produced, and I can't imagine anyone liking it's styling. I was just watching an episode of Top Gear the other day and they were doing a comparison on the RX8 and a couple other cars that I cant recall at the moment, and they were praising the RX8's good looks, which is the first I have ever heard that.

At the moment I own a 1993 Mazda MX6. It's a 4 cyl. manual tranny that I bought for $350.00 wrecked. It's a fun little car, very high mileage but has a rebuilt engine. As for RX-8 and RX-7, I'd have to go with RX-7. Very sporty look, RX-8 just... no... The name doesn't even sound good.

Not really, you can never have enough power (unless it exceeds the limits of the other parts of the car and then **** starts breaking)

this is true, but still. I think for a daily driver, it's a bit too much on looks and power haha.

I'd really like to get a Speed3, but they're still too new and thus too expensive for my budget. I wouldn't mind an RX-8 but the Speed3 is more fuel efficient, more powerful and more spacious.

I thought the Mazdaspeed 6s were pretty cool.. they're about as quick as my Mustang, but they do it in a totally different manner.
