I thought about doing a 5-speed swap with my old Talon when I was doing the motor and tranny swap last summer. If you get around to it and want to swap it to a 5-speed, I'd get an old 5-speed junker so you have everything you need there and can see how it was put together. Then you'd only have to buy tools and maybe replace a couple clutch fittings. Though if you're having to go knock-off for exhaust parts and such I'd maybe wait before doing any major work to the car. At least you have it (or will have it soon).

Right on! Hopefully it won't be too hard to swap it in. Just need to find some pedals, clutch master and slave cylinder, clutch assembly and transmission probably. Potentially a wiring harness for the engine though, you may want to pick up a shop manual and check the wiring between the two models. Go Chiltons if you can, it's worth the investment.

List of things you'll need:
-5 speed transmission
-5 speed transmission crossmember (can't believe I left that off the original version)
-5 speed Drive Shaft
-Flywheel
-Clutch and pressure plate (if you get a new kit, it typically comes with a new TO bearing and pilot bushing. If you reuse old parts, make sure to get a new TO bearing and pilot bushing.)
-Clutch Master Cylinder
-Clutch Slave Cylinder
-Clutch Pedal
-Brake Pedal
-Clutch hard line (unless you FEEL like fabricating hydrolic lines)
-Shift boot
-rubber shift boot and metal circle bracket (used to hold the rubber boot to the trans tunnel

Correct right chris?
Copied from a swap walkthrough

375. which sounds good to me because it says it should cost 400-600.
