I've never owned one but I like them. A friend of mine had one with a lot of money invested in it. He totalled it last summer.

I do like them even though I think they would look better shaped a bit differently. I don't think I would ever invest in one though.

I don't know why but supras have always reminded me of corvets (they look kinda similar). And this may sound hard to believe but I hate corvets -.- they don't look good and are too overrated. =P

"i dont like the front lights of it"

I dont understand how anyone could not like the front, but the back view is the most important anyways since thats all most people will see

"I don't know why but supras have always reminded me of corvets (they look kinda similar)."

ummm time for a trip to your local optomitrist

"I hate corvets -.- they don't look good and are too overrated."

I cant argue with your there, but do get those eyes fixed and buy a Supra so your life of happiness can finally begin

Supras are fine cars, and such a nice cars for this fine hobby of ours.
The 2jz has been through just about everything that can be done to an engine....
It's an amazing engine...specially the TT

And about the Supra looking like a "corvet"...
one, what the hell is a corvet? do you mean Corvette?
Don't insult something you can't correctly spell...

I'm rather torn about the Supra. I like the grunt you get and it makes one hell of a sound, however on styling and handling the MK4 Supra kind of reminds me of the Dodge Viper with the long hood and how it's known more for straight line racing than it is in the corners. If I ever have the money to spend on a MK4 Supra I'd buy a twin turbo targa in an instant, though I'd rather hope that by then the next incarnation of Motorex would have been created so I could have a R-34 skyline or S15 Silvia by then. I do like the sound of an inline 6.

yeah seriously. let me know when a $70,000 car that can clock a 3.5 0-60mph and 198mph top end is overrated... especially given that in 2007 it was the fastest car from 0-150mph except the Veyron and the S7 TT.

Supra's are venerable opponents in street racing, considering that they can be tuned and modded to pull over 1,000 ponies and I live the widebody look of the 3rd generation. Let's not mention the tons of aftermarket support available out there for them with the help of Nismo, Top Secret, and AB Flug just to name a few. I wouldn't want a Supra though, I prefer a less well known cars that doesn't have a reputation of defeating Corvette's and Viper's but still capable of doing so.

Again, not to start an import v domestic battle, but a well-tuned Lingenfelter vette would destroy a well-tuned supra.

no ****, it's Lingenfelter for ****s sake, and what are the chances of coming up in a race with a 500+ hp Supra anyway, like a billion to one. The chances of a Lingenfelter modded car are like 10 million to one
