dude, theres no question, I take the vette. even though im not that big of a vette fan, the horsepower, feel, and look of a vette is just awesome. plus when u roll down the beach in a vette with tee-tops and a hot girl beside u, its just awesome.

as Im more impressed with the DeLorean

its just that I seem to like a little bit more of a straight edge car and the Corvette is too curvey

my preferences are: Lamborghini Countach and Pre-Audi Diablo and the LM002 and the 2006 Scion XB so the DeLorean fits in perfectly

The DMC is an interesting and rare car, but rare for a reason. There was a DeLorean dealership here that became DeLorean Cadillac after DMC went under. When they closed up shop there (i don't kno if they moved or went under too), there were still 2 DMC on the lot that they abandoned because they figured they'd never be able to get rid of them. I don't know if this post is too late or not, but you're best bet is probably the Corvette.

I choose the Vette, It's a classic American icon like apple pie. The DeLorean is allabout forgotten. If it wasn't for Back to the Future, no one would know what a DeLorean was

I'd have to go with the Corvette. It's such a dynamic car, and it really is a legend. Yeah, there's faster stuff out there, but the Corvette is such an icon, such a symbol of American pride. I would love to own one someday.

The Delorean is a poorly built, underpowered piece of garbage.

That 81 Vette is hot. Although I hate red leather.

I'm throwing with the DeLorean here. Those Vettes were garbage. All you got was a 200hp V8 that got terrible gas mileage, and they are a dime a dozen. Sure, they look nice, but they aren't that great. In fact, when you look at the numbers, they're the worst Vettes ever built. At least there's some sort of exclusivity with the DeLorean. Plus it looks cool.

Btw, have any of you ever driven an older Vette? I have, and they are no screaming hell. Horrible visibility, terrible ride, goofy suspension, and it felt cheap. Now don't get me wrong, I love Vettes; just not these ones.

Just wait til you need parts for which ever you get....

they're both pretty cool, and I'd probably actually go for the DMC just because they're rare. But rarity brings problems too. The largest of those being parts availibility. You can get Vette Parts almost anywhere, but Dmc parts almost no where.

p.s. I'd rather have a Yugo than either of these.

I don't dislike the DeLorean at all... I just have a passion for Corvettes. Match it up with a different car from 1981, and then it may be a different story. I don't mean this as an insult at all, but 88mph doesn't do it for me
