fastest buick...Eat gASS imports
Welcome to the 6 second club.

The (OEM)turbo trans Am was faster then the (OEM) GN and the GNX at the dragstrip, due to its aerodynamics shape. With $1500 a buick turbo v6 will go into the 10`s all day...PRICELESS.

put you money where your mouth is, and you will have nothing to eat.

Not that anybody cares, but the chrysler conquest is not an american car. The only thing american about it is the badge it wears. If we're gonna get technical, I believe it should be replaced by the other turbo DSM. The eclipse/talon sister cars. Much more reliable, easier to work on and a larger parts base. Still an 80's car (I have a 11/89 manufacturing date on mine) and only made in us. Again, very technical, but still technically correct. (You did say 80's cars, not 80's models)

Yeah, I have an aunt who used to have the Mitsubishi Starion which is the same as a Chrysler Conquest, and my old DSM was certainly more reliable, though those old Starion/Conquests were RWD, where with a 1989-1999 DSM you were lucky if you found an AWD over a FWD. The Conquest is certainly more fun, though I would agree it is borderline on being American.

i like the GN too .

GM has also made

GMC cyclone
GMC typhoon and some Oldsmobile recieve this motor too.

don`t forget the dodge NEON SRT, or the new Chevy cobalt SS.

Pontiac also made a 1979 4.9 turbo trans am.

Some of the Buick park ave and regal GS are supercharge. the Pontiac GTP and SSEi are also part of the S/C family. 2004 was the last years of the 3800 s/c (L67) production. some Chevy like the impala and Monte Carlo receive this engine. This is a very, very good engine and is capable of handling 1000+hp in turbo application.

I`m sure i am missing a few others.

Another thing force induction engine can be consider another form of FLEX-FUEL, since the power is ON DEMAND.
