As far as natural aspiration goes, you should join Mustangforums.com and look at the 4.6 section. There are guys running low 12s without forced induction or nitrous, and with a 2V. Forced induction just happens to be the easiest way to get big numbers. As far as the 4V 4.6s go.. those things are some of the best out there. The 03-04 SVT Cobra, in my opinion, was the best Mustang ever made. Yes, it has a supercharger, but LSx guys are scared of it. My point is.. do the right stuff.. and a 4.6L can get a lot of nice kills on the streets.
