I'm actually debating doing it to my old Mercury SlowPaz sitting in my back yard. I'm curious to see how far pushrods can launch through the rocker cover.
Think of it as an automotive stress test, you're testing the strain on the moving components, the weakest moving component failing first. I think engine builders should bounce their motors off the limiter until destruction in testing so they know which components to improve.
