So tonight I'm driving home and I come up behind what looked like 2 BMW 335i sedans. When I got closer, I could see they were "riced out" a little in that all the badging had been removed and replaced by Chinese letters, they were lowered, had weird spoilers on the trunk and above the rear window, limo tint, and had different rims. The first one turned off, and I was left with the second one. I could tell it was a 335 because it had the dual exhaust. With a little maneuvring, I got next to him at the first red light. I turned off the traction control, engaged "sport mode" and waited for the green... When the light turned, I had to take it a little easy at first, since my tires are pretty close to the wear bars and I didn't want to sit there burning rubber for 5 minutes... but even when I did drop the pedal I layed a long patch of rubber, giving him the lead which I took back as soon as I got traction and I stayed ahead of him until about 50 mph, when he caught up and edged slightly by me until about 70 when I took the lead again. He backed off at about 85, and turned down a side street
Overall it was a pretty good match, and I must say it got my adrenaline running. I hope to run into him again for round two... if my tires can take it.
