well it finally happened, my old 91 supra died at 195834 miles
, not bad for also 4 seasons as an scca race car, anyway i love this thing WAYYYYYY to much to sell it
and i would never jund a car like this, so she is getting rebuilt. as of now the car still starts and runs but the rod bearings ate gone, horrible noise
, so as it stands this is whats going to get done to it while i have the chance. full head gasket job including titan motorsports 1.4mm metal headgasket with arp studs torqued to 76 ft/lbs
. either acl race bearings or clevite 77 bearings, bothe rod and main. full timing belt job including gates timing belt and possibly titan motorsports or fidanza timing gears. new valve seals and seats, and ALL engine gaskets/seals. as for the bottom end the rods are getting wpc treatment, and new forged pistons are going in, wiring harness and ecu getting replaced with turbo variants
. might look into bic DDP but have to see about the noise levels. also getting a spearco FMIC and alluminum 2.5 inch piping. lexus AFM and 550's are among the top on the electronics, also a good wideband, havent picked one yet, and all the bottom end hardware is going to be arp for sure, should be done in the next few monthes provding money works out as planned, then i should have nooo problems proving ppl around where i live that it dosent have to be brand new or a v8 to be fast
any suggestions, comments, jokes anything hit me a message
