Jag vs. "Chinese" 3 series
Posted On 07/06/2008 21:40:55 by SuperchargedXJ
So tonight I'm driving home and I come up behind what looked like 2 BMW 335i sedans. When I got closer, I could see they were "riced out" a little in that all the badging had been removed and replaced by Chinese letters, they were lowered, had weird spoilers on the trunk and above the rear window, limo tint, and had different rims. The first one turned off, and I was left with the second one. I could tell it was a 335 because it had the dual exhaust. With a little maneuvring, I got next to him a... Read More

The joys of owning Opels
Posted On 07/06/2008 18:26:32 by shelbyy
My family and I just took a trip up to the mountains, which we do usually at least once a month. Well this time we brought our 1970 Opel Kadett. The Talon is for sale
Posted On 07/03/2008 04:45:33 by mesarius

Now that it is finished and running I had to start worrying about other repairs it needs.  After thinking it over I felt that the car needs far more work than I have time to give it, so I opted to sell it.  I'm asking $3800 but I will take offers or trades if anyone is interested.  I'm already shopping around for a replacement, I'm deciding between an Olds Intrigue or a Grand Prix GT, both with the ledgendary GM 3800 torque... Caddy vs Turbo Civic
Posted On 07/01/2008 22:06:09 by apolloGT
Another stoplighter versus a turbo civic. I didn't even realize he wanted to race, I had moderate acceleration up to 30, but he stepped on it, so I did as well. I overtook him at about 50mph in 2nd gear. These things are fun, but I always try to be careful. Stay safe guys = ]... Read More

Blog Five: It lives!
Posted On 07/01/2008 21:47:11 by mesarius
Today was the big day.  We cracked at it for maybe four hours and got the Talon running.  Sorry guys but I didn't get a video of the first start up, however I can tell you that it only took 30 seconds of fuel system priming and four crank attempts to get it started.  I took it out for a drive and it drives beautifully.  It hits fuel cut or misfires or something if you floor it and one of the drive shaft bushings needs replacing, but otherwise this is the best it has ever run....
